Oil exports from Kazakhstan will reach 64 million tons - Ministry of Energy
This is 4.1% below last year's foreign shipments...
Forecasts for Kazakhstan's oil production and export volumes were voiced by the Minister of Energy Bolat Akchulakov at the Central Communications Service of Kazakhstan, business information center Kapital.kz reports.
He said that oil production in 2022 is expected to reach 84 million tons, or 96.5% of the 2021 level, and oil exports in 2022 is expected to reach 64.8 million tons, or 4.1% less than in 2021.
The oil production plan for 2023 is 90.5 million tons, exports - 71 million tons. Refining by the end of the year will be 18 million tons, which is 5.8% more than in 2021. Production of petroleum products is expected to be 13.7 million tons or 108.3% compared to 2021.
The minister also said that in the expiring year the company launched and put into commercial operation an information system of oil and gas condensate accounting, which currently allows tracking 95% of oil turnover.

To improve the efficiency of major projects for the country's economy on behalf of the head of state in 2023 together with foreign partners will be developed a comprehensive plan for the development of major oil and gas projects.
In addition, as part of the Presidential instruction to diversify corridors for the export of hydrocarbons, the Ministry, together with stakeholders, developed a Roadmap, which provides:

- additional loading capacities of the Atyrau-Samara route with further transportation to the ports of Ust-Luga, Novorossiysk.

- development of the Trans-Caspian international transport route, under which it is planned to carry out modernization of railroad tracks and expand the fleet of rail tank cars, as well as to reconstruct and upgrade oil loading berths in the Aktau Commercial Seaport;

- it is also planned to increase oil exports to China, including the expansion of certain sections of the Kazakhstan-China oil pipeline.
